UAB North Pavilion Omnicell Carousel Renovation

Shelby partnered with UAB to renovate 2,766 SF of existing pharmacy space within the North Pavilion to accommodate the installation of three new Omnicell pharmacy automation systems. The project required specialized structural modifications, including steel bracing installed within the floor and ceiling assemblies to support the lifting and placement of the new equipment. In addition to preparing the space for the Omnicell systems, our team relocated the existing pharmacy entrance to improve access and circulation and upgraded the existing office space. Careful coordination allowed the renovation and specialized equipment installation to be completed within UAB’s active healthcare environment while supporting the pharmacy’s evolving operational needs.
