The Edison Building
This project consisted of the interior demolition and reconstruction of one of downtown Birmingham’s historic buildings. Built in 1886, the three-story brick building served as a power generating facility for the famed Edison Electric Illuminating Company. Our scope included buildout of four 2-bed/2-bath apartment units, as well as a penthouse master apartment and in-law suite. Additional upgrades included an elevator and a new stairwell.
