Ironvest Partners – Steiner Building

The historic Steiner Building located on 1st Avenue North in downtown Birmingham is the new home of Ironvest Partners. The 4-story romanesque style building was originally constructed in 1890, and boasted the first hydraulically operated elevator in the State of Alabama. We worked closely with the owner and design team on the project, which consisted of a complete renovation of the second floor to provide office spaces, reception, a state of the art conference room and ADA compliant restrooms with shower facilities. Speial care was paid to preserving the many historic elements, including 130 year old wood flooring and original exposed brick.
