112 24th Street

The building located at 112 24th Street was one of the first adaptive reuse projects Shelby completed, sparking the desire for more of the same. The building was a 2-story heavy timber framed structure with load bearing brick exterior walls which had remained vacant and become dilapidated and structurally compromised over time. Our scope of work included replacing the collapsed roof and floor assemblies, salvaging the original hardwood floors, and converting the building into four tenant spaces as well as a 4-car parking garage. The parking garage was constructed within the footprint of the building, which was a significant feat. Tenants in the upgraded space include Matt Mathews Photography, Bobby Crook Realty, Ironvest Partners, and Queens Park.
